Parts Return & Refund Policy

Product must be returned to Hamilton within 30 days from date the product was delivered at the customer location.

Approval for Returns

  • All return requests must be approved by Hamilton Power Solutions prior to shipping. Upon approval, a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA) will be provided, along with the appropriate address for shipping the returned items.
  • Return requests must be approved prior to returning the item to Hamilton Power Solutions.

Regular Stocking Items:

  • Regular stocking items are subject to a minimum 20% restocking fee.
  • Not all regular stock items are available for return. Please refer to the list of non-returnable items below for exclusions.

Special Order Items:

  • Most Special-Order Items are not available for return.
  • A formal request must be supplied by the customer and submitted to Hamilton Power for review and approval. In many instances formal requests must be submitted to the factory supplier for approval and consideration. Approval for special order returns is not guaranteed.
  • Subject to factory restocking fee policies. Fees vary by item and supplier.

Non-Returnable Items: The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Engines
  • Electrical / Electronic Items
  • Bearings
  • Special Order Items
  • Leftover items from a kit purchase

Core Returns: For items with a core return arrangement, cores must be returned to Hamilton no later than 30 days from date of delivery at customer location. Failure to meet this timeframe may result in additional charges and the loss of the core refund.

Engine Sales: Engines and engine systems sales are final and non-returnable. Please contact your salesperson with any questions.

Buyer’s Responsibility:

  • Shipping Charges: The cost of shipping the returned items back to Hamilton is the responsibility of the buyer. We recommend using a trackable shipping method and purchasing shipping insurance for added security.
  • Return Shipping Instructions: When returning items, package them securely to prevent damage during transit. Include the RMA number on the package in clear visible writing. Use the shipping address provided upon approval of your return request.
  • Condition of Items: Returned items must be in their original packaging and free of damage, dirt, and rust. They shall show no signs of installation or usage. Items returned damaged or dirty may be subjected to return/refund disqualification.

Handling of Damaged or Defective Items: If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately for assistance. We will provide options for replacement, repair, or verification depending on the situation. Claims for damaged or defective items should be made within 3 days of receiving the damaged or defective items.

Refund Method: Refunds will be processed through the original payment method used for the purchase.
